Traditional movements
If Gerald Genta is a famous brand that makes bold all extravagance in dress watches, however, it is more respectful of traditional watchmaking. Each large ring reacts in its own way, depending on the volume occupied by the movement in the box and it includes recesses, selected materials and processing, power hammers and a myriad of details such as quality screws, joints and welds. She reached a testing system that reflect the density, elastic modulus and coefficient of loss, physical parameters in determining the distribution of sound, which must be as low as possible.

First parameter to take into account the density must be less than 5. However, among the metals most commonly used in watchmaking, only the titanium meets this requirement. Its density is half as high as that of steel, which is half as high as that of the white gold.
