Presented to Former President Jimmy Carter – the man who had helped to negotiate an accord between Egypt and Israel after 3 wars and 31 years of fighting. Upon his arrival to Egypt in 1979, Egyptian President Anwar Sadat, presented President Carter with this gift as well as Egypt’s highest honor – The Great Order of the Nile
