Michael Phelps opens premier NYC Omega Watch boutique

American Olympic swimming champion Michael Phelps joined Omega CEO Stephen Urquhart for the official opening of the first-ever NYC location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. To mark this momentous occasion, Phelps signed and donated his personal Omega Planet Ocean watch to be displayed at the store. Phelps then spent time disassembling an Omega watch with the store’s team of watchmakers. Later, he took time to meet and greet the many fans who had lined up outside the boutique. The day was capped off with a VIP cocktail reception where Phelps celebrated the flagship opening with Omega executives and influential New Yorkers.
