Oris soars with new BC4 collection

The BC4 collection is taking the Oris World of Aviation to new heights. But it is style, not altitude that makes the BC4 Chronograph and Pointer Day real high flyers.

The black dials and elegant white numerals are chic; the red markers for the date, days and minutes are bold. The intriguing three date display at 3 o’clock calls to mind the scrolling numbers of flight instruments. The repeated presence of the striking small second display at 9 o’clock shows consistency and reliability. This also appears on the BC4 Flight Timer – the third member of the collection.

The Chronograph is a watch made for action. As the seconds, minutes and hours are counted you’ll see how time really flies. The Pointer Day is a 21^st century take on the traditional and beloved Oris original. Both models are protected by the Oris Quick Lock Crown system – a parachute to help avoid accidental adjustment.

The case design of both models is based on the shape of a flight instrument, and the soft, stitched, gaucho leather strap and clasp look exactly like an aircraft seatbelt. Keep your eyes on the dial and don’t look down! One glance at either of these new models and you’ll feel like you’re flying. That’s why Oris is the intelligent choice.

Mechanical automatic movement with stop watch function. Centralised hour and minute display, small second display at 9 o’clock. Decentralised minute and hour counters, centralised second counter. Date at 3 o’clock.
Two piece black dial with printed pattern, applied nickel indices, nickel hands with luminous inlay.
Multi piece stainless steel case secured with 4 screws. Case back with mineral glass. Sapphire glass domed on both sides with inner anti-reflective coating.
Stainless steel Quick Lock Crown and pushers.
Black gaucho leather strap with contrasting stitching and special folding clasp.
Water resistant to 10bar/100m.

Black dial with applied nickel indices (version 54) or with printed Superluminova numbers (version 64). Polished nickel hands with luminous inlay.
Stainless steel case secured with 4 screws. Case back with mineral glass. Sapphire glass domed on both sides with inner anti-reflective coating.
Stainless steel Quick Lock Crown.
Black gaucho leather strap with contrasting stitching and special folding clasp.
