It seems that Danial Craig starting in the new James Bond Movie Quantum Of Solace is sporting an Omega Luxury Watch. We have seen him in two watches, One with a brown leather band and the other a steel or 18k white gold bracelet. We will post more pictures and specific watch information as we investigate!

In 1941 Teddy Bacon lost his Bulova Gold Watch while towing a line for his ship. 60 years later it was retured to him and is still working. Bulova Gold Watches are known for there power and strenght and we are happy to see such a great example. We hope to see the same from Movado Gold Watches
Bulova is a New York based corporation making watches and clocks.
Bulova was founded and incorporated as the J. Bulova Company in 1875 by Joseph Bulova (1851-1936), an immigrant from Bohemia. It was reincorporated under the name Bulova Watch Company in 1923, and became part of the Loews Corporation in 1979..
Bulova established its operations in Woodside, New York and Flushing, New York, where it made innovations in watchmaking, and developed a number of watchmaking tools. Its horological innovations included the Accutron watch which used resonating tuning forks as a means of regulating the time keeping function. In July 1941 Bulova paid $9 for the first television commercial, a 10-second spot on WNBT during a baseball game between the Brooklyn Dodgers and Philadelphia Phillies.
Last night we were proud to see history in the making in which BarackObama was nominated as the Demacatic candadate for president. We are not a polictical blog however we did see a nice array of Luxury Watches and will be writing some more about them soon.

FYI: rose gold is a big trend in metallics for 2008!

Vacheron Constantin has been hand-crafting luxury timepieces for more than two hundred and fifty-two years, and they only produce 18,000 watches each year.
We would like to see some Movado Watches also

This years Beijing Olympics are spectacular and Omega is taking a big part of it!
At the Opening Ceremony, Swatch Group CEO Nick Hayek, OMEGA President Stephen Urquhart, and OMEGA Olympic Manager Christophe Berthaud were joined by Jacques Rogge, President of the International Olympic Committee, Tu Mingde, the Assistant to the President of the Beijing Olympic Committee for the Olympic Games (BOCOG) and Gerhard Heiberg, head of the IOC’s Marketing Commission.

When Luxury Watches are manufactured there are many things associated with cost.
1. Research and Development
All watches have complex movements some that are on the cutting edge of technology.
There are different types of movement and all are very complex. These movement have precious stones (Ruby’s etc..) in them
some are made of precious medals. The manufacturing process is very complex because they need to be very small and very complex and therefore require special machinery. There are a few unique watches that stand out with the complexity of their movements and therefore are very expensive. However all watches hold complex movements.
