The new Antiquorum Auction

Antiquorum’s September 26th auction of Important Collectors’ Wristwatches, Pocket Watches, & Clocks will mark the start of an exciting Fall season for collectors and enthusiasts of horology from all over the world. The “Top Lots”
The highlight of the sale is the Audemars Piguet, Genève, “Jules Audemars – Tourbillon Répétition Minutes Chronographe,” Ref. 26050PT. Made in 2006, sold on July 25, 2007. It is an extremely fine and rare, large, minute-repeating, platinum gentleman’s wristwatch with visible one-minute tourbillon regulator, round button chronograph and register.
Estimate: $ 200,000 – $ 300,000.

For the Patek enthusiast, we will offer a Ref. 3970/2 Patek Philippe, Genève. Sold in May 1993. It is a very fine, astronomic, 18K yellow gold gentleman’s wristwatch with round button chronograph, register, perpetual calendar, and moon phases.
Estimate: $ 100,000 – 120,000.

Lovers of Rolex will long for the so-called “Jean-Claude Killy” Rolex, “Oyster Chronograph, Anti-magnetic”, Ref. 6036. Made in the 1950s. It is a fine and rare, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman’s wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers and triple date.
Estimate: $ 85,000 – $ 125,000.

Also for the Patek aficionado, there is the Patek Philippe, Genève, “10-Days”, Ref. 5100 P. Made in a limited edition of 300 pieces to celebrate the New Millennium. It is a very fine and rare, rectangular lozenge-shaped, water-resistant, platinum gentleman’s wristwatch with 10-day power reserve.
Estimate: $ 80,000 – $ 100,000.

Jaeger-LeCoultre collectors will likely appreciate the Jaeger-LeCoultre, “Master Minute Repeater Antoine LeCoultre”, Ref. 164.64.20. Made in a limited edition of 200 pieces in 2006. It is a very fine and rare, oversized, minute-repeating, water-resistant, platinum gentleman’s wristwatch with 15-days power reserve and spring torque indication.
Estimate: $ 60,000 – $ 100,000.

Patek fans will also want to bid on Patek Philippe, Genève, Ref. 5050.It is a very fine and rare, astronomic, center seconds, self-winding, 18K yellow gold gentleman’s wristwatch with perpetual calendar, retrograde date, leap year indication and moon phases.
Estimate: $ 50,000 – 70,000.

Another Patek not to be overlooked is the Patek Philippe, Genève, “Pagoda”, Ref. 5500. Made in a limited edition of 150 examples in 1997. It is a very fine and rare, rectangular flared, “bombé”, platinum gentleman’s wristwatch.
Estimate: $ 40,000 -60,000.

Last, but not least, there is a Patek Philippe Ref. 3940 in pink gold. This is a very fine, astronomic, self-winding, 18K pink gold gentleman’s wristwatch with perpetual calendar, and moon phases.
Estimate: $ 30,000 – 40,000.
