Written by James Matthews
Ulysse Nardin has released a nice watch. I like it’s simple yet unique style. It’s a nice Diamond Watch
The Egg of the Tsars – Maxi Marine Chronometer Enamel, Limited Edition of 30 Pieces
This model Maxi Marine collection features a genuine hand-crafted oven-cured enamel dial, with an applied gold double-headed Eagle which is the emblem of St. Petersburg, Russia.
The platinum case measures 43mm and is water resistant to 200 meters. Movement is the automatic UN caliber 26 with 28 jewels, with a 22kt gold rotor and a power reserve of 42 hours. It is COSC-certified as a chronometer.
The Imperial St. Petersburg is presented in an elaborate multi-layer white translucent enamel Egg of the Tsars decorated with 4.25 carats of diamonds. The diamonds have been applied in order to recreate the legendary symbols of St. Petersburg (the Admiralty Spire, the Rostral Columns, the Arches of the General Staff Building) and the famous drawbridges. Ulysse Nardin’s anchor serves to link the egg to the white marble base.
