Ulysse Nardin Moonstruck Watch
Written by James Matthews
Renowned luxury watch maker Ulysse Nardin has come out with a new moonstruck watch. This technical achievement underscores the advance that Ulysse Nardin watches have made this year. The case, in 18kt rose gold or in platinum, measures 46mm. It has double sapphire crystals and is water resistant to 100 meters.
Movement is the automatic in-house caliber UN-106. This timepiece positions an earth depiction at the center of the dial, with solar and lunar hands in relation to our planet. The precise moonphase calendar does not need adjusting in 100,000 years. The combined tough crystal makes this Ulysse Nardin tough enough to last the full moonphase life.
This new caliber has various parts done in silicium (also known as silicon), such as the escapement and the hairspring. Silicium is a non-ferrous and non-magnetic material. Thereby reducing the effects of gravity and the need for a Tourbillon. As we enter the first decade of the new millenium Ulysse Nardin has perfected it’s watches to do the same.
This is a unique Ulysse Nardin watch and only 500 pieces are available
