Van Cleef & Arpels Vicomte Watch Pendant Necklace

The Van Cleef & Arpels Les Jardins Collection includes 140 haute joaillerie pieces inspired by English, French and Asian gardens. Inspired by the fountains of Château Vaux-le-Vicomte, Les Jardins à la Française is a dazzling play of water and blue skies.
The Vicomte Watch Pendant Necklace is an ode to the château’s splendid fountains . The manual winding watch case is set with baguette diamonds, adorned by an incredible cascade of sapphire balls. A fountain made up of round, pear-cut and baguette diamonds surrounds a magnificent pear-cut sapphire. In perfect symmetry, pear-cut diamonds stem out from it like the fountain’s sprays. On the base of the mother of pearl dial is a mother of pearl inlay depicting another bubbling fountain.
The 36mm watch is fitted on a detachable clip and both the necklace and watch can be worn separately. The other Vicomte jewelery pieces are just as stunning as the Vicomte Watch Pendant Necklace:
The Vicomte necklace is made of 370 carats of sapphires shaped in three rows of sapphire balls and pear-shaped sapphire drops that suggest water flowing from a fountain. Each fountain is composed of diamonds and a center sapphire that weigh 3.53 carats and 4.87 carats, respectively.
